I worked as an Associate Engineer in ACE TRANSPORTATION ENGINEERING SERVICES (PVT.) for a period of 1st May 2000 to April 2002.In this period I got a lot of field experience with fully energetic moments and with hard working. I am very thankful to Mr.SHAHBAZ KHAN Resident Engineer ACE-TES Dargai-Chakdara (N-45) for his fully co operation with me during my period. We wish him success and glory in all aspects of life.
During that period I was in contact with the following disciplines.
1. Sureving and Leveling of road.
2. Cutting and Filling of road.
3. Different tests like FDT, FDD, CBR, Gradition, Water content, Moisture content , Liquid limitPlastic limit, etc.
4. Earth work like Subgrade, Subase , Waterbond and Asphalt.
5. Structural work like culverts, retaining walls.
CURRENT POSITION:
As a site Engineer in NLC (National logistic cell Islamabad)
This project consist in two parts:
1.RUADP (Rawalpindi Urban And Development Project)
2.DHA (Defence Housing Authority)Islamabad.
Both these projects consist of earth work
like Subgrade, Subase , Waterbond and Asphalt etc.and as well as
structural works like culverts, retaining walls small bridges drains etc.
I also supervised the construction of OT of CMH(combine millatry hospital)Rawalpindi.
During both these projects i got a good experience related to buildind construction and other strucctural works.
PROJECT REPORT On
Light Weight Housing Using Structural Sandwiches.
ABSTRACT:
Structural sandwich construction is a composite structure in which light weight material is sandwiched b/w materials of high tensile strength. In this project thermo pore core is used as light weight material while steel plate (G.I sheets) of various thickness(1mm, .85mm, .5mm)and plywood (3ply)f thickness 3.75mm are used as material of high tensile strength. Thermo pore core of 1.25 in thickness is sandwiched between two plates of either steel or plywood or both. They are bound together with glue. It is an economical and light weight construction material of high strength. It also gives good insulation against heat transmission and can be used where light structures and heat insulation is required.
