I AM LOOKING FOR A TEACHING JOB IN MALAYSIA.My professional background includes two (2) years as an ICT Instructor for Prep, Primary and DT Instructor for Middle Year levels. I have been conducting the IB (International Baccalaureate) curriculum to PYP (Primary Years Program) and MYP (Middle Years Program) students by designing curricula, unit planning and lesson planning, lectures, hand-outs and application/ hands-on exercises, creating specific-task rubric for assessing the students, and collaborating with the self-contained teachers and area specialists in integrating various subject areas in ICT and DT. I also taught General Science and English Grammar, Speech and applied conversation to Primary and Middle Year students and teachers in a private school in Indonesia, conducted echo seminars, and organized a Science Club. English has been the language of instruction that I use.
I have recently completed the required 18 units of Education at the National Teachers College and I intend to take the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) Board Exam this August. I have a degree in Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy and completed a TESL certificate short-course program in De La Salle University in Manila.
My skills include computer applications, preparing lesson plans and hand-outs, and power point presentations, layouts for the monthly school paper, photo and video editing, organizing school programs/events, first aid, and driving. I am also conversant in Bahasa Indonesia and sign language.
