Hi my name is Marcus, I am known as Dj mob-d. I started a real passion for dance music at the age of 9. My mom bought me my first compilation, this was the early nineties dance music. It soon took off from there; I then started to take a deep interest in watching my uncle djing he showed me how to mix and the different styles of music. Once in comprehensive school my passion was growing much bigger and the interest I had in music was outstanding I started up a radio show through the schools radio where I played dance music for those in the common rooms and I was also the dj at my school discos. Whilst at school I attended a dj course which involved me teaching youngster how to beat match and make demo mixes, this then threw my passion for music through the roof. All I wanted was to be as big as my idols, Tiesto, Paul Van Dyk, and Judge Jules. I got taught by a hard house dj called Dj Sherpa. I have him to thank as now my passion for mixing is at the highest it could be. After I left school I was the DJ in sixth form parties and also played in several clubs including the millennium, Quid’s Inn, Apollo, and Revolution. Through out my many years of being a DJ I have played several styles but the styles that suit me the most are: Trance, Hard House, Hard Dance and Scouse House. I mix with Vinyl as I find you can interact with the music and feel the beats better than CD’s.
A dj knows that they have the talent inside them from youth. It’s a passion that grows more and more everyday. I currently do not have a residency but when you have heard me play, you won’t be let down as have the ability to read the crowd. I am a south Wales dj but travelling is no option as I will play all over the World.
