Here listed is my brief ancestral history with pictures of my family

I am researching my Irish ancestral roots going back as far as 1515 in Leighlenbridge, Ireland. Our family name has changed many times and includes some of the following variant spellings; Scarf/Scarff/Scarfe/Scariff/Scharf/Scharfe and many other undiscovered variant spellings.

The SCHARF spelling is also German but our families date back to Ireland as far as 1515 so far. The original spelling of the name is SCARF.Why some of the familes changed the spelling of their name over the years is very confusing and some times inexplainable. It just is.

Any tidbits of family data about the families no matter how trivial would be appreciated as my reseach for the past fifteen years has been an 'ongoing work in progress'(to quote my Irish/Australian cousin, Darryl Scarff.
